Handlebar Snack Pack: Jarrah
Description
Introducing the Handlebar Snack Pack in Limited Edition Waxed Canvas!
Our ‘Handlebar Snack Pack’ is a true chameleon, transforming seamlessly from shoulder bag to bike bag without compromising on functionality or sophistication.
It attaches quickly to your handlebars and its clever back zip goes straight into the bag's main compartment, so your essentials are always within arm's reach while riding!
When off the bike, the ‘HSP’ conceals its true identity as a bike bag, unless you can't resist sharing its secret with others (which wouldn't be surprising!).
"The quality and attention to detail is unparalleled.. Everything about it is just so high quality... It instantly became my everyday carry bag"
- Abby P.
“I wanted something quite versatile and I liked that I could use it on and off the bike.. I like buying from people that are immersed in the community and creating things that they would want to use...I love that I’m able to access things while riding, I've literally ridden home eating hot chips from it”
- Sophie W.
“I wanted something that I could put on my handlebars then also I could wear out to dinner and not be obvious that it was a bike bag... I was looking for pretty much exactly this bag and it took me a long time to find it, but once I did I was like, oh this is it, this is exactly what I wanted. It's really well made. It's aesthetically pleasing. It's versatile."
-Caitlin F.

Handlebar Snack Pack: Jarrah
Bag purchased to carry small items for commute to gym (towel, keys, phone, etc). This bag is bigger than the canvas snack pack and has a separate rear compartment accessed via rear zip, rather than the single compartment and rear zip of the other model. Once again great quality.
Bag carried courier style and not attached to handlebars.
Thanks
I now have nine bags from Framework Designs ranging from small pouches to a Sight-Seeker and a Haul-All. These are certainly not the cheapest bags, but I don't want cheap, I want quality. I prefer canvas to laminated synthetic fabrics, and as I'm an all-weather cycle commuter I want things that will perform and last in all conditions (still have and use WE canvas panniers that are 30years old). I'm very happy with the snack pack and am sure it will last for years.
Stumbled across this bag in an article on We Are Explorers. Love that that Framework Designs are an Australian company and that the materials used to make the bag are recycled - so those two things certainly piqued my interest initially. However, the bag stands alone. I ride my e-bike to work every day and have found that this bag fits well on the front (just have to be mindful of some of the cables when attaching it) and holds all my things such as office keys, phone, wallet, reading glasses etc, very comfortably - making them very accessible but also keeping them safe and dry. During the day the bag becomes my work handbag!! I love the extra design feature of the strap to hold the bag on your back while cycling - amazing! Bag arrived quickly and Framework Designs followed up asking what I thought of the bag - great service.
I am loving my Saltbush HSP. It is a great size for use as my handbag, but super light when I expand it to carry my knitting and kindle on train trips. I haven’t used it on my handlebars yet, but is well made for that too.
